Looks like a small cold front coming in tomorrow….drop a few inches of powder in the mountains to start the snow pack. I’ll be riding Guardsman Pass and Snake Creek this year, looking forward to some new terrain after a ten year run in the Uinta’s. Time to tune up the cat… and get ready for the deep powder riding! Powder is starting to pile up!!

Here we go, the southwest flow really favors the Western Uinta’s for the powder. Sundance Ski Resort received 30 inches from the last storm. I was up around Tower Mountain and the snow pack is still low and there is a very week layer of sugar like snow deep in the snowpack. Be aware there will be some huge avalanches once mother nature dumps a couple more feet. Be safe as we lost a skier to an avalanche up at Snowbird this past weekend after they did control work!!!
